Wish the adult Scuba came with extra soft Kidz bristles

I've been using the adult Scuba for over ten years. The bristles are a bit to hard for me so I soften them prior to brushing with a five minute soak in very hot tap water. I could avoid this extra step if the adult brushes offered an extra soft bristle option. We old timers, just like the babies need things on the softer side. I've tried using the Kidz brush, but the head is too small. Hoping Radius will consider that there just might be a market out there with the older folk.
bristles *too* soft

Loved these brushes for my boys - however like all kids they were in cahoots with Grammie for cartoon character toothbrushes for some time and are have recently wanted to get back into them - they like the funky shapes and colors. So Mom got them 3 each of the Kidz ... and regret it. They fit great in their hands and have excellent control over them, but aethetics and control are the only positives - the problem is that the bristles go *smush* far too fast. The first pair of Kidz lasted about three weeks before they became unusable, my boys are strong for their age, but they don't use their toothbrushes like they're digging for gold in there, the brushes should have lasted longer. The bristle type is "very soft", and think that is great for kids whose parents still help them gently brush their teeth. In a few years my boys can switch to adult sizes, but there isn't a Radius toothbrush that works for them now - and yes, they want funky shapes and bright colors. In essence; what works for toddlers to early elementary school children doesn't work for the older elementary to pre-teen kids. I believe the "soft" bristles - like on my own brushes - would be fine for that age group, they are gentle but not so ... *smushy.* Until there are two bristle options, the Kidz aren't working for my kids ... and probably not for many others .

I'm glad Radius makes a kids size but I would really prefer a SCUBA version because the handle is softer and more flexible. The brush head is good but the handle that is available is hard plastic and seems a little cheap, though granted the price is low. Still I would pay more for a SCUBA if offered in kids size.
