What is used to make the Vegan Cranberry Floss?
Our completely vegan Cranberry Floss is spun from the finest grade nylon filament. It is then dipped in pure cranberry essence from a premium American supplier and coated in 100% pure, natural candelilla wax which is a plant based wax.
Why should I use a Cranberry Floss?
Cranberry is a natural source of phytochemicals which have been proven to stop unwanted bacteria clinging to surfaces. Cranberry acts as a natural inhibitor to plaque on the surfaces between teeth and helps prevent gum disease.
My teeth are fairly close together. Will this floss work for me?
Our Vegan Cranberry Floss is made from a strong nylon that is meant for tight spaces.
Is the Vegan Cranberry Floss healthy to use?
Of course! Our Vegan Cranberry floss contains no artificial sweeteners, preservatives, color, flavor, synthetic waxes, GMO ingredients, and is gluten free.
Is the Cranberry Floss made in the USA?
RADIUS does not manufacture our flosses in the USA. They are manufactured in a family owned, fair trade farm cooperative in Colombia. Our floss is spun under strict quality controls with a guarantee of integrity.
The packaging that I purchased says that the floss is coated in beeswax? Why is that?
RADIUS recently switched manufactures of our flosses and there may still be a few of the older flosses on the market. Our flosses were coated in beeswax at one time, however that is no longer the case. They are now coated in a candelilla wax, which is a plant based wax.
How can I tell the difference between the older packaging and newer packaging?
Our older floss was packaged in a round plastic container and the newer floss is packaged in a square plastic container.
Was this floss tested on animals?
RADIUS products are never tested on animals and we do not affiliate ourselves with any companies that do.
Since the floss is coated in cranberry essence, does that mean it will leave behind an acidic or sugary residue between my teeth?
Absolutely not. The floss is coated in cranberry essence which does not contain the sugars or other ingredients in cranberry juice. The only thing left in the essence is the phyochemicals that stop unwanted bacteria.
How much floss is in one package?
Each floss contains 55 yards per unit. This is 15% more than your average floss supplier.
Why is your floss packaged in a plastic container?
As much as we try to be as environmentally friendly as possible, there are certain things that we cannot change. Our flosses are spooled in a plastic container and then put in a cardboard package. Floss is considered a medical device by the FDA and they require it to be packaged in a plastic container. Since our products are sold in both natural product stores as well as drug/grocery stores, we have to package our floss in a plastic container. We are always looking for new, innovative, and green ideas for packaging, but unfortunately we cannot change our plastic floss container until the laws have changed.
Are the plastic and cardboard containers recyclable?
Absolutely. The plastic container is a #5 recycling code. It is community dependent on whether or not they will accept certain recycling codes. We recommend contacting your local community and asking them about recycling certain products. The cardboard packaging is 100% recyclable.

Why choose silk?
Silk was the original material used for all flosses throughout the world until the late 1930s when silk sources to the Western world were cut off due to the sino-Japanese War. Silk is an all-natural alternative to nylon.
Why are you frequently out of stock of the Silk Floss?
Our Silk Floss is made from natural silk and because of this the manufacturing process can be rather lengthy. Great care is taken to provide the best product and because of this we receive very few shipments of low quantity of the Silk Floss. When we do receive shipments, we fulfill orders for distributors that have placed order for the Silk Floss. We try our hardest to make the Silk Floss available any chance we get.
